There is three light double bedrooms with TV in the holiday home. One is furnished with a 3/4 bed (140 x 200 cm), one with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) and one with a double bed. A bathroom with a sink and a toilet and a scullery with a washing machine and dryer.
A lovely large kitchen with all the modern facilities needed and in extension with the kitchen there is a combined dining and living room. A lovely dining area with plenty of room around the dining table and a cozy living room with a large flat screen TV. From the living room there is access to a 14 m2 sunroom furnished with a large sofa where many of the chilly nights can be spend in protection from the evening dew. From the sunroom there is a direct access to a lovely yard with garden furniture.
Attractions in the area:
The area offers many activities and attractions for all ages. For the active guest there is some nice hiking/running trails in Skagen Klitplantage, a fun tennis match can be played in Skagen Tennis club courses located directly across from the holiday home. Or take a ride on your mountain bike in Skagen MTB-Club trail. The tennis course is rented out by the hour and the mountain bike trail starts 1 km away from the holiday home. It is possible to rent bikes and a mountain bike at Skagen Cykeludlejning.
A short walk from the holiday home you will reach Skagen town center with a large selection of retail shops, art crafts, galleries, cafés and restaurants. Remember to pay a visit to the very top of Denmark, Grenen -where the two oceans Skagerrak and Kattegat meets. Grenen is located 6 km towards north from the holiday home and is easily reached by foot, car or bicycle.
Should you wish for some more cultural experiences, a visit to the art museum of skagen, Anchers house and Drachmanns house is recommendable. Here you will experience the famous paintings form the 1870's where the Skagen painters had their existence in Skagen. Kystmuseet (the local history museum) tells stories about the hard life as a fisherman and the many strandings around Skagens shoreline in the olden days. The sandburied church and Råbjerg Mile -Denmarks largest migrating dune is also an option to visit, here you will learn more about the sand drift from year 1500 and the problems it caused.
