Holiday home in Skagen

With a magnificent view and a gorgeous location in the heart of Skagen, you will find this beautiful well-maintained oasis. The "SKAW-LY" house has been carefully renovated through the years and with its 130 m2 divided upon two levels, it is perfect for a family holiday in Skagen. The outside facilities include a nice garden and terrace with garden furniture. On the main floor there is a small hallway with a decorating desk and a narrow staircase, leading you to the 1. floor. From the hallway there is a lovely white painted glass door leading you to the combined living and dining room with a fireplace. Lovely dining area and a cozy sofa corner with a corner couch and TV. From the dining/living room there is access to a nice tiled terrace with garden furniture and a lovely garden. A newer kitchen in blue kitchen design and with all the modern facilities. From the kitchen there is a nice view over the yard and from the kitchen there is also a white painted glass door connecting the kitchen to the hallway. Next to the kitchen there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. On the 1. floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds. Furthermore, a lovely landing area with a beautiful example of an old chest of drawers and a sofa bed with room for two people. Further house facilities also include: a child chair and a children's highchair. The house is perfect for six people, but there is room for eight people all in all.  Only 200 meters from the holiday home you will find a large playground with a skating ramp by the community Centre "Kappelborg" where also the cinema and library are located. A large selection of retail shops, cafés and restaurants is located next to the playground. The art museum of Skagen and Anchors house is easily reached from the holiday home and the marina with the old "Bindesbøll" fishing storage houses is also nearby. Kystmuseet (the local history museum), Drachmann's house and the many art crafts, galleries etc. is also within walking distance from the house. A trip to Grenen, where the two oceans Skagerrak and Kattegat is a must see when visiting Skagen. On your way out to Grenen you will pass by the grey lighthouse, Centre of migrating birds since 2007. Do you have an interest in birds around Skagen, Grenen is a perfect location for bird watching both in the spring and fall.  A heating pump has been installed. Two parking spots is available by the holiday home. Wifi is available. Mandatory consumption fee for electricity, heat and water. Final cleaning is available for an extra fee. The cleaning of the garden grill is not included in the rent price and is the tenant responsibility to maintain. (Also, when booked final cleaning). Nearest grocery shop: SuperBrugsen, 100 meters from the holiday home. Public transportation: Skagen train station, 250 meters away from the holiday home.
