A ship carpenter built his own unique summer cottage in the beginning of the 70's. The house is built 10 meters above the entrance and offers views of open fields, forests, and the Bay of Sejerø. The hills both have Bronze Age graves, stone circles, and spectacular views. Even though the municipality has the country's largest number of summer houses, it's impossible to see more than four or five.
On the large terraces, sunbathing, relaxing, and reading books under a 40-year-old grape vine is a good, easy-living Hygge principle. If, suddenly, a large number of family and friends come by, there is space enough to hold any garden party.
