The area offers wonderful nature walks through Nordskoven, home to ancient oak trees, as well as the opportunity to visit Jægerspris Castle, explore local flea markets or head to Kulhuse Harbour, with its lovely beach, bathing jetty, cosy marina, pizzeria and ice cream shop. If you fancy a day trip to Copenhagen, the city is just one hour away and easy to reach by car or public transport.
