Originally designed in 1985 by architect Stefan Kappel and renovated in 2008 by architect Dorthe Mandrup, the house today combines modern style with cosy Danish holiday atmosphere.
The bright open-plan kitchen and living area is the heart of the home. Relax by the wood-burning stove in the classic wooden sofa or enjoy long dinners around the dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee maker and all essential cooking equipment.
There are two comfortable bedrooms with modern mattresses and top mattresses. One room features a double bed that can easily be separated into two single beds. The second bedroom includes two single beds and two practical fold-out bunk beds, making the house ideal for families.
The bright bathroom offers underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. The house also includes fast Wi‑Fi, a large TV package with Scandinavian and German channels, a heat pump with air conditioning and small work desks in the living room and bedrooms.
Outside, you can enjoy two lovely terraces. The south-facing terrace is partly covered and completely private, perfect for lunches and barbecue evenings. The west-facing terrace offers evening sun and a small glimpse of the sea.
The house is located in a former holiday resort area with access to a playground, football field and mini golf. The coastline is only 200 metres away with excellent swimming opportunities and beautiful sunsets. A scenic coastal path leads you approximately 2.5 km to the harbour town of Gilleleje with cafés, restaurants and lively atmosphere.
