On sunny days, the large terrace becomes an extension of the home when the double doors open, with furniture used for meals, relaxing, or play. There are sun loungers, hammock, parasols, play equipment, ladder golf and grill. If the weather is cooler, you can cozy up around the outdoor fireplace. From living room & terrace you have forest views, and trails lead you through varied terrain. For more activity, the shallow coast is great for SUP. On the fjord you can launch kayaks, canoes or boats. Øster Hurup, 10 km away, is a vibrant summer town with restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, and charming shops. It’s also home to a family-friendly beach and harbor bath. For excursions, visit Lille Vildmose Center (seasonal), Randers Regenforest ~45 min away, or colorful Aalborg with zoo, shopping & nightlife roughly 1 hour away.
