In Sorthat/Muleby you will find this charming log cabin with a grass roof, built from quality timber with great attention to detail. The holiday home features an open kitchen connected to a spacious living and dining area. Inside, the light wooden walls create a warm and inviting atmosphere. A large loft provides the perfect space for play and relaxation for both children and adults.
The house offers three bright bedrooms with high ceilings and views of the little stream that runs through the property, as well as the fields to the east. The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating.
It is well insulated and heated with electricity and a heat pump. On colder days, you can light the wood-burning stove for extra warmth and coziness. This makes the house suitable for rental all year round.
From the dining area, there is direct access to the terrace, which wraps around three sides of the house: west (partly covered), south, and east. This ensures you always find a comfortable spot, whether in sun or shade.
The large natural plot invites exploration and features both a firepit by the stream and plenty of space for adventures. Parking is available on the gravelled area – please avoid driving on the grass.
The holiday area “Sahara” is named after the former dune landscape shaped by drifting sand. Today, it is covered by forest, and a beautiful woodland path leads you down to the sandy beach, passing a picturesque forest lake along the way.
Note: The house is not rented out to youth groups.
