Cozy and well-appointed summer house in Hornbæk

Hornbæk is located on the North Zealand coast and boasts one of Denmark’s best beaches. In Hornbæk, you will find cozy restaurants, fishing houses, a spa and wellness center, a tourist office, a playground, and great shopping opportunities. The town also offers crab fishing for children.

The summer house is located in Hornbæk and is perfect for a family or a group of friends. One of Denmark’s best beaches is just a 10-minute walk from the house. If you have a car, it is easy to get around and explore all of Copenhagen’s attractions as well as the many historic castles north of the city, including the king’s summer residence, Fredensborg Palace, Hamlet’s castle, Kronborg, in Helsingør, and Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød.

The summer house is 93 m² with a covered terrace and an outdoor shower. The plot is 1,659 m².
The house features a spacious living/dining room with a cozy sofa corner, a wood-burning stove, a TV, and a dining table with a high chair for a baby. There is also a newly renovated kitchen with a bar where you can sit and enjoy a drink while chatting with the cook. The kitchen is well-equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, and extractor hood. Naturally, there is wireless internet.

The summer house has three bedrooms with space for up to 8 people: one bedroom with two beds placed next to each other, one bedroom with a double bed, and one room with four bunk beds. A baby crib is also available. There is one bathroom with a shower.

In the shed, you will find both a washing machine and a dryer. On the veranda, there is a large gas grill.

The summer house is surrounded by a large garden with many trees and bushes. There is a fire pit and a swing. A private road leads directly from the main road to the garden and house.

TRANSPORT
You can reach Hornbæk by bus or train. There is a train station just a 10-minute walk away.
If you arrive from the airport, you can take the metro (direction ‘Vanløse’) and change at Nørreport to the train (direction ‘Helsingør’). From Helsingør, there is a train (direction ‘Hillerød’) to Horneby Sand. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes by public transport.
However, having a car is convenient during your stay at the summer house. Outside rush hours, it takes about 55 minutes to drive to the airport and approximately 45 minutes to central Copenhagen.
