Welcome to this authentic Skagen house - a historic fisherman's house from 1806. Beautifully and carefully renovated to retain its original charm and character. Located close to Sønderstrand (the beach) and the iconic Tilting Lighthouse, this holiday home is a gem for those looking for a holiday in historic and scenic surroundings.

Inside, the house exudes cosiness and nostalgia. There are low ceilings (good headroom), exposed beams and small mullioned windows. The 122 m2 is spread over two floors. The house has four bedrooms, three of which are located on the first floor with cosy sloping walls. Two double bedrooms and a walk-through room with a sofa bed and a desk. The fourth bedroom is located on the ground floor. The bathroom and guest toilet are both located on the ground floor as well.

The large eat-in kitchen equipped with all modern facilities and plenty of space around the dining table is the heart of the house. Adjacent to the dining kitchen is the living room with a large combined tiled stove/wood-burning stove, original dark ceilings, leather furniture and wall-mounted smart TV. From the living room you have direct access to the terrace.

Outside, a south-facing terrace awaits, perfect for sunny days and cosy evenings. The terrace is furnished with beautiful white garden furniture, 2 sun loungers and a small outdoor kitchen where you can prepare dinner for the barbecue.

The location of this beautiful house is nothing short of amazing - just a short walk from Sønderstrand, where you can enjoy beach life and the beautiful Tilting Lighthouse. The old Lighthouse is also the centre of the annual Midsummer celebrations on 23 June where locals and guests gather for a cosy evening of singing, music and bonfires on the beach.

The Tilting Lighthouse is but one of Skagen's many lighthouses. You can also visit the Grey Lighthouse, located on the way to Grenen. From the top of the lighthouse, you have a fantastic view of the area on Grenen, over the rooftops of the city and into Skagen Harbour. At the foot of the Grey Lighthouse is the Centre for Migratory Birds, an exciting place with lots of information about all the migratory birds that pass Grenen every year. During certain periods it is possible to participate in bird ringing with the ornithologists.

A trip all the way out to Grenen, the outermost point of Denmark where the Kattegat and Skagerrak seas meet, should also make your holiday programme. It's possible to walk all the way to the outermost point of the headland. Alternatively, take the Sandormen (tractor with wagon) from the car park on Grenen.

Parking space for one car directly at the holiday home. Additional cars can park on Østerbyvej.
