Holiday home in Bygstad

Holiday cottage situated in Fauske, 4 km from the fjord. The house has been expanded several times between 1850 and 1988, and has a magnificent panoramic view facing Storhesten, a mountain reaching 1209 mamsl. There is bed space for 12 people in the cottage, but it is recommended for 8 people. There are 2 verandas with panoramic views of the impressive scenery. Almost every night you can see deer passing by or hear eagles whooshing over the cottage. The boat is situated by Dalsfjorden in Bygstad. The rivers that run here are known for its salmon, and the fish-rich narrow fjord stretches all the way to Askvoll by the coast. You can also rent bigger boats in Bygstad if you want to go further out at sea to fish. You can also rent canoes. There are many hiking trails in the area, and some of them lead up to the mountain tops. The bedrooms on the first floor are small, but you can move the mattresses to the combined living room and bedroom on the second floor and look at the fantastic view of the mountains. There is plenty of space. This is an exciting house with many possibilities and room for many people.
