The Lyngenalps are Europe's northernmost Alps with peaks towering above 1800 m and glaciers on the mountain tops. In winter the northern lights in all their colourful splendour of the polar sky provide a great experience in this area. You may want to be stay up late into the night and enjoy the beautiful play of colours. The bright spring and summer nights up here are also a great sight, especially when the midnight sun is shining and bathes the landscape in its reddish tinge. 40 minutes by car ferry to/from Lyngseidet. The Kåfjorden is surrounded by great hiking area in summer and winter. In addition to the ski trails there is also Alpine skiing approx. 2.5 km from the house. 50 m to the sea with abundant sea fishing and where you can also fish with a rod from shore.
