It is approx. 100 marked hiking trails in the area. Hiking on the mountain Lihesten 777 m. is recommended for a panoramic view of the area. Island hopping with the mail boat in Solund is a popular day trip, the postman is both skipper and guide. The historic Kvernsteinsparken in Hyllestad is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and well worth a visit. Good fishing in the fjord.
