Rent the Øien 620F 21 ft open boat with control panel and 70 hp Suzuki 4-stroke motor with Garmin 720s 7-inch chartplotter/GPS/sonar and 8 rod holders, for catching all kinds of fish in these excellent fishing conditions. Life jackets are included and crab traps can be borrowed. Access to an indoor fish cleaning table with running water and lighting, in a boat house by the harbour. In the same boathouse you can store fishing equipment and dry wet clothes. A 400 liter freezer can be found 20 meters away. Relax in the heated water of the outdoor whirlpool, located in the garden behind the house. The owner has a farm with horseback riding, horse breeding and dairy and meat production. You can come and feed the animals if you like. The farm has a new (2010) indoor horseback riding centre that measures 25 x 50 meters, where you can rent horses and learn how to ride them. 1 km to a hiking trail that takes you to the "mountain" of Kimen, 90 meters high with a marvelous view. Grocery store on the island and a water world and other facilities on the neighbour island of Harøya. Frequent ferry departures to the mainland (Brattvågen) and to Ålesund. You can go on day excursions to Geiranger, Trollstigen, Mardalsfossen, Molde, Kristiansund, Ona and The Atlantic Road. One of the double beds is 120 cm wide, the single beds can be combined into double beds. NB! The maximum numbers of people around the dining table are 6 adults and 2 children because of limited space.
