Lovely house in Karby close to the fjord and close to Karby Kuber, a former school turned into an activity center and assembly rooms. The house has two rooms, which both has a double bed, and, in the living room, there is a double sofa bed. From the house, there is a nice view over the fjord towards Årbjerg Torn and Mågeodde, where there is a platform for birdwatching. The house has a garden and two terracesses with garden furniture. Close to the house, there is a path leading directly to the beach. Kærstien, which is a beautiful hiking trail in the middle of nature, is also located close to the house. On Agerø, nature is also a main element, as this is a place, where Brent Geese overwinter in large numbers. Moreover, the house is situated close to "Næssie", the only union run ferry in Denmark, which connects Southern Mors and Southern Thy, where you can experience the National Park Thy. Thus, this house is the perfect base for a stay full of nature experiences. Around the world, Mors is mainly known for its impressive moler formations that tower along the coast on the northern part of the island. Hanklit is the most well-known formation, and if you take the steep walk to the top, you are granted with a fantastic view overlooking the waters of Thisted Bredning and the characteristically hilly landscape on the northern part of the island. Salgjerhøj is the tallest point on the island (89 meters) and from here, it is possible to see most of the 34 churches on the island. Ejerslev Harbor is definitely also worth a visit, with its scenic location and charming lagoon. Here, the moler formations rise above the landscape and you can try your fortune as a fossil-hunter. During the summer, the café is open. At the Fossil and Mo-clay museum, 55 millions years of history is told through the many finds from the moler on the island. In the same area, you can find the agricultural museum Skarregaard, where time has been paused in 1958. Skarregaard also has a fantastic natural playground for the children. Nykøbing is home to the museum of local history, Dueholm Monastery, in which you can experience the history of the island's inhabitants as well as varying exhibitions. In Nykøbing, you can also find the Danish Foundry Museum that exhibits old Morsø stoves and cookers. The charming pedestrian street ties together the town and the marina, at which locals and tourists gather to ring the evening bell at 9pm every night during the summer. South of Nykøbing, the scenic area Legind Bjerge is located. Here, there are waymarked trails for both hikers and mountain bikers. Moreover, the family-friendly holiday park Jesperhus is also located in this area. In Sindbjerg Plantation, you can also find mountain bike trails. This area is also home to Morsø Tractor Museum, which exhibits more than 120 tractors. Indeed, the island holds experiences to last several days.
