Holiday home in Bollnäs NO

The cottage is located in a cozy area which is a real idyll with lake views and only 50 m down to the lake, Växsjön. In this house there is everything you could possibly need and to the house there is also a guest house with two bunk beds. The accommodation is perfect for the larger family who want to experience swimming, nature, fishing and a strong cultural life.

The house is nicely decorated in mixed style with classic Swedish pine. In the entrance there is a small hall. You then enter directly into the living room which is a large living room with sofa, TV and dining table. There is also a lovely wood burning stove for chilly evenings. Directly from the living room are two bedrooms. One bedroom with a double bed 180 cm and with an exit to the terrace. The second bedroom with a bunk bed with 90 cm wide upper bed and 120 cm lower bed. In the small guest house which is located right next door, there are two more bunk beds and a comfortable sofa. The house has a spacious bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and washing machine. Ideal if you want to stay longer than a week.

When you live here, you should take the opportunity to experience the Hälsinge farms, each farm has its own history. The seven Hälsinge farms that were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List represent around 1000 farms with cultural-historical values. The wooden castle is worth a trip to see. Located under Hälsingegårdar and is only 7 km from the cottage. There is a café, a nice garden, a playground for the children and several exhibitions, including a visitor center for the Hälsinge farms.

For those who want to experience nature should go to Tjuvberget. Magnificent views and varied forest. It is worth visiting the nature reserve Djupsjön - Römmaberget, where old untouched forest stands together with new forest. Or go out on the lake and fish, where the area invites to incredible fishing experiences around the landscape.
