The house's location is ideal for discovering the beautiful nature of the Southern Black Forest, whether on hikes or bike rides. In winter, well-groomed cross-country trails and several ski lifts in the area offer unadulterated skiing fun. Excursion destinations in the area include St. Blasien (4 km), Schluchsee (20 km), Titisee (40 km), Feldberg, Zurich. The Zeidlerweg, inaugurated in September 2019, is located on the premises of the Goldenhof in Dachsberg-Urberg (Waldshut district).
