Holiday home in Skara Ö

About 3 km from Varnhem's monastery and from Varnhem's church, this incredibly nice cottage is located on a hill. Here you can look out over the plains and feel the peace appear. Outside is a pilgrimage trail and cows grazing in the pasture next door. Ideal for a family who wants to visit crowds of summer land and at the same time visit historical sites that are around.

In this red cottage with white knots and behind the nice blue door you will find a cozy accommodation. Directly to the left you come in the small bedroom with a bunk bed with 80 cm wide beds. Next to the bedroom is a very fresh bathroom with shower. To the right of the hall you come out into a spacious living room with open fireplace, large dining table and a sofa bed. The sofa bed has a mattress topper and is 180 cm wide. Inside is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need. From the kitchen you can look out at the swings at the back and a lush garden.

Here you will enjoy yourself and the cottage is perfect for the family who want to combine adventure on Skara summerland and with historical excursions to Varnhem, Husaby and all the nice places around. Just above the cottage there is a small path with barbecue area and small stream. Where also one of many a pilgrimage trail goes.

The cottage's plot is shared with the owners who are happy to offer help with questions and concerns. Washing machine can be borrowed by the homeowners and bed linen can be rented if desired.

You live peacefully and beautifully with proximity to everything a holiday might need. About 3 km to Varnhem's monastery, 9 km to Skara summerland and 5 km to Hornborgasjön to watch cranes and rich bird life. Feel free to take a trip to charming Lidköping with cafes and shopping as well as beautiful Kinnekulle with Läckö castle.
