Villa in Marsala

Guests can soak the Sicilian sun in comfort in the heritage Villa Lilybeum in Marsala. Two large furnished verandas frame the villa. One of these overlooks the large salt-water swimming pool and the other opens to the beautiful garden. The interiors are finished with luxurious flourishes. Each room in the house is decorated with traditional Sicilian furniture. The 4 bedrooms offer ample space for a group of 8 people.

The house has modern underfloor heating, powered by a photovoltaic system and there is free Wi-fi. Guests will also have access to a practical laundry room in the basement.

The Villa is located between Marsala and the beautiful Stagnone nature reserve, a fascinating protected area that offers a natural and lush environment. The area is, in fact, a lagoon characterized by very shallow waters and consists of 4 islands, including the famous island of Mozia, which houses an old fort. Around the reserve, guests will find beautiful sandy beaches and pristine, crystal clear water.

Guests are also encouraged to visit the salt pans that offer a fantastic view, especially at sunset, and with a bit of luck one can even spot a swarm of pink flamingos in the reserve.

The historic city of Marsala, with its extraordinary Baroque historic center and its wonderful scenery, is located a few kilometers from our Villa. Walking through its streets and alleys you will discover, behind every corner, the signs of the passage of the many civilizations that have followed one another over the centuries: the Phoenicians, the Arabs, the Spaniards, the influence of these different cultures is still perceptible in local customs and traditions, but it is above all alive in gastronomy: don't miss the chance to taste the delicious typical dishes of the area! Among these, is Marsala, the sweet dessert wine that proudly bears the name of the city, the undisputed king. Among the most evocative places in the Marsala area you cannot miss the salt marshes and their characteristic mills: a fantastic vision, especially at sunset, when you can see, if you're lucky, even a flock of pink flamingos that inhabit the area of the reserve.
