Wonderfully situated house right by the water with a view over the beautiful lake Hjälmsjön from the terrace. The house is part of a secluded smaller cabin village and here you will experience the peace and quiet. Perfect location for the nature lover and also close to central Örkelljunga.

Entry hallway leads to a kitchen with all necessary equipment and a dishwasher. Spacious living room with a dining area and a sofa bed for two. Bathroom with shower. Master bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Exit from the living room to the conservatory with a lovely view over the lake. The conservatory has a sofa bed for two as an alternative sleeping space during the warmer months, since it is not isolated for winter use. Wooden patio at an angle, perfect for enjoying warm summer evenings. Perhaps cooking todays catch? Common grilling area down by the lake, the bathing spot allows for both morning swims and late evening baths. The common boat jetty where you find the rowing boat is in the water during the summer months.

Very idyllic and scenic area. The beech tree forest offers wonderful hiking trails and walks around lake Hjälmsjön on trails as well as smaller roads. Larger disability-friendly bathing spot at Mammas vik in Hjälmsjön, with bathing platform and grilling area. Hjälmsjön is widely famous among canoeists and rowers for its mirror calm waters. Perch, pike, zander, bream and roach are all found in the lake (fishing license necessary).

Some distance north of Örkelljunga is Kungsbyggets adventure park, and in the winter the alpine resort at Vallåsen on Hallandsåsen is open. Vejbystrand beach by the sea, and seasonal resort Båstad. Several golf courts in the area, closest is Örkelljunga golf club. Örkelljunga also has one of the best mini golf courts in the country. Markaryd to the north has an elk park well worth a visit.
