This large group accommodation is a combination of three group houses. Two of them are next to each other, while the other guest house is only around 50m away. The buildings are all part of a seminar centre in the beautiful town of Lehesten, right in the Thuringian forest. The first house acts as the main house for the whole centre. The reception and centre's office are located on the ground floor. The bedrooms, which are spread out over all floors of the house, each have their own bathroom. The house features two meeting rooms. A small gym and private barrel sauna in the garden complete the deal. The garden and the terrace invite you to sunbathe, grill or play. The second house is located right next door. The bedrooms, which each have their own bathroom, are located on the first and second floors. The seminar room, two small group rooms and the self-catering kitchen are also located here. On the ground floor there is a restaurant with professional kitchen, which can be booked separately on request. The third house is just located around 50m away. The corner house has its own entrance. This part of the house is for your exclusive use. The house features, among other things, two conference rooms as well as an "arts room". A large playground and barbecue complete the deal. The choice of seminar and meeting rooms allows you to flexibly organize your stay. Whether you're travelling with a large group or a club, having a meeting or planing a family celebration. The rooms can be individually furnished and equipped. The seminar centre is nestled in the Schieferpark, a former slate mining area. Fun with children: the large area features a playground, small forests, mine carts and the "technical slate mining monument" (with guides), the constantly open nature park exhibition and a riding stable (if interested, reserve riding dates early). Sports: hiking, jogging, Nordic walking or biking in the surrounding nature reserve as well as the Thuringian Forest reserve. Definitely worth seeing: round walk around Schiefersee (about 3 km), with unique views. In winter, there's a direct connection to 25 km of cross-country ski trails (depending on the snow conditions). The Thuringian Slate Mountains/Upper Saale nature park offers ideal conditions for hiking and nature lovers year-round. Discover a variety of rare animals and plants on undisturbed hikes. The famous Rennsteig is located only four kilometres away. Excursions into the surrounding region: Erfurt, Weimar, the Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes, Saalburg fairy tale forest, Lauscha glass centre.
