Cottage in Faucon

This cottage furnished in the art deco style is on a roughly 2700m2 private estate, in a wooded and quiet area, 1km from the Provençal village of Faucon. This 4-person cottage is in the side wing of a villa, where the very friendly owner lives. The location of the terrace is such that you enjoy lots of privacy. Half and full board are possible on discussion with the owner after booking.

The cottage has been tastefully furnished and you will find several old features that recall traditional Provence. The cottage has a spacious sitting room with an open-plan kitchen and a dining area. There are also 2 comfortable bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.

In the planted garden is the swimming pool (8m x 4m) completely surrounded by a large terrace with loungers. You will share the swimming pool with the guests from the other cottage which is on the same estate.

The village of Faucon is still in the Vaucluse department. You will find the famous bakery, local village café and a restaurant there.

The very near (8km) Vaison la Romaine is also worth the detour. The town is steeped in the Roman era. Here, you will be able to visit the Roman canal ways, the Ouvèze Bridge, the ruins of a villa, a Roman theatre and the Pyumin Museum.

Would you like to visit some good wineries and a picnic afterwards? The owner takes you to special châteaux in this area. The owner also has his own olive grove in Sicily. You can taste his own delicious bio - olive oil.
