Also the veranda near the house is a great place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. In addition, there is a private sports court directly next to the house surrounded by a fence where you can play volleyball, badminton,, basketball etc. Satellite TV with a wide choice of Dutch, English, French and German channels. The nearest beach is just 8 minutes by car (approx. 5 km). On ca. 12 km lies the lively city of Rethymnon with its long promenade with cafes, bars and beautiful old harbour. The holiday house is a good starting point to discover the beautiful island. The airports are also easily accessible.
