Welcome to the beautiful island of Blidö and to this charming holiday home! Set only 50 metres from lake Hemsundet, with a private dock , a canoe, as well as 4 bicycles and a rowing boat, this is the perfect holiday home for nature lovers.

The cottage features a well-equipped kitchen and three bedrooms, two of them with double beds, the third with a bunk bed. The bathroom contains a WC, a washbasin, a shower cubicle, and a washing machine. In the living room, there's a cosy wood-burning stove, a TV, a DVD-player, and a CD-player. The house has WiFi.

Blidö is a beautiful island in Roslagen, the archipelago north of Stockholm. The island has beautiful beaches and a grocery store. Waxholmsbolaget has ferries that will take you to the neighbouring islands, and to the city of Stockholm. Check Waxholmsbolagets website for prices and timetables.

Roslagen offers all sorts of events and activities, one example is the boat race Roslagsloppet and the festival Roslagsfestivalen. In July you can enjoy the American Car Show. Or visit Norrtälje where you will find the science museum Pythagoras. Norrtälje also arranges the event Norrtälje Jazzdagar, a jazz event that usually takes place after midsummer. Why not make a day trip to Åland or try your hand at kayaking? Or explore the caves of Gillberga gryt outside of Hallstavik!

The city of Stockholm is well known for it's beauty and it's historical sites. Be sure to visit Drottningholms castle, the summer home of the royal family! It's is located next to the exotic castle Kina Slott and the delightful castle garden. In and around the city you will find plenty of things to do and see.
