Villa in Pistoia

Villa dei Tarocchi is located in the countryside, in a scenic spot suitable for beautiful walks in the hills and is only 3 km from the centre of Pistoia, a characteristic Tuscan city rich in history and monuments. In 2017, Pistoia was elected 'Italian Capital of Culture' and is definitely worth a visit. The villa is in a central location for visiting the northern part of Tuscany. In particular, at a distance of about an hour's drive you will find: Florence with its art treasures (40 Km) Pisa (50 Km) with the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower, Lucca with its splendid city walls (45 Km) Montecatini and Monsummano with its thermal baths and grottoes (20 minutes), the high Tuscan-Emilian Apennines with its splendid mountains equipped for winter sports and for trekking and mountain-bike trips in summer. In addition, the most famous seaside resorts of Versilia (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Forte dei Marmi) with dozens of kilometres of large, equipped sandy beaches can easily be reached in 50 minutes by motorway. Upon arrival at Villa dei Tarocchi you will find a clean, holiday home with a view of the hills and Pistoia, perfect for a peaceful holiday in Tuscany. For your relaxation, you will have a large garden with a swing and hammocks, a barbecue and a swimming pool equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas for the exclusive use of our guests. The property is equipped with a well-equipped kitchen with coffee maker, oven, toaster, cooker and refrigerator, as well as sufficient crockery and cutlery for up to 8 to 10 people. If you prefer to eat outdoors, there is a furnished area in the garden where you can enjoy the good weather during your meals. We collaborate with the "LA FATTORIA" stud farm, which organises horseback riding trips in the surrounding countryside or woods for ages 14 and up. The pool is open from mid-April, however this is not guaranteed because it depends on the weather conditions, so the official date is from May 1st.

The beautiful city of Lucca (30 min) wrapped in its feature walls and Versilia with its famous sandy beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi (50 min) are easily reached since the house is located just 5 minutes from exit Pistoia of the A11 Firenze-Mare There's also a horseriding school not far from the house with several routes to try and see the zone. For the people who are coming in July, definately go to Pistoia Blues! A Music Festival with different concerts all around town.
