The owners Aurora and Vincenzo were wonderful hosts, greeting us with a meal the evening we arrived, and giving us much assistance in where to eat, how to get to places, and helping us in many other ways which made our stay in Sicily such a marvellous experience. The house and bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor living area was something we looked forward to returning to at the end of each day, especially the swimming pool. The only drawback was the very small kitchen but the lovely, large, cool patio with barbecue area more than compensated. Aurora and Vincenzo gave us a pizza making demonstration one evening, Aurora showing us (amidst much laughter) how to make the pizza dough and Enzo cooked the finished product using the wood-fired pizza oven in the outdoor eating area. Do enjoy this unusual experience! The house is ideally located for visiting the many varied and fascinating towns and points of interest in the eastern part of Sicily. We would love to return one day.
