EVENTS:
Usually starting from the half of June, until the half of September, three events about the Apulian tradition are organized in our Masseria, to which our guests can participate freely and with no additional cost, discovering the typical characteristics of our land and living a real experience of Salento.
During the remaining periods, instead, they can be organized on request on any day, knowing in advance, with a small contribution per person and for a minimum number of people.

Specifically:

1. On Mondays before dinner, the \"Arts and Crafts\": outside of our restaurant, open-air, the ladies of Antica Masseria Jorche show various jobs of ancient time, including the preparation of various types of homemade Apulian bread and pasta. It's a sort of cooking class but warmer and involving the guest who is not simply a spectator but becomes an active part of the event itself: everything is accompanied by live folk music and a tasting of \"pettole\" and our red wines.

2. On Wednesdays before dinner, the \"Guided Tour in the Cellar with tasting in the barricade\": from the Masseria, guests move to the winery for the tour with guided visit (also in English), in which we tell and show them, step by step, the entire process of winemaking and the techniques adopted, from the harvest of grapes to the final product.

3. On Thursdays during the dinner, the event protagonist of the week, the \"Pizzica Show\", an ancient Salento dance very cheerful and engaging. During the evening, the various types of Pizzica are explained and shown, from the one of courtship to the one called \"Tarantola\". At the end of the evening, guests are invited to join the dancers - among which there is also one of the two owners, Dalila Gianfreda - to learn the basic steps of Pizzica and to bring at home a vivid remember of Salento! Thereby a night very funny takes place, with an atmosphere of pure Apulian hospitality fun and staying together.
