Reggello extends over an area of approximately 122 km² that runs from the Arno valley along the slopes of the mountains of Pratomagno. For lovers of history and art there are numerous castles in the area, including that of the Poggio della Regina, the ruins of the Guidi fort from the eleventh century, and at Leccio is the castle of Sammezzano, with its park.
