A warm welcome to what may be one of Sweden’s most unique holiday home locations. Right outside the window, the ferries to Finland pass by, creating the perfect setting for swimming, fishing and enjoying life by the water.
This charming and rustic villa enjoys a truly unbeatable location. It features a private shoreline, a jetty for boating, fishing and swimming, and a partly natural garden with woodland and berry bushes. The property is located in the peaceful and green area of Norrnäs on Värmdö, close to Rindö and Vaxholm.
You will stay only about 45 minutes by car from Stockholm, or approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes by public transport. Ideal for guests who want to combine relaxation with the attractions of Stockholm.
The house was built during the 1920s, a period known for some of Sweden’s most beautiful villas. It has remained in the same family ever since and is now owned by the fourth generation.
The property underwent extensive refurbishment in 2020, while carefully preserving its heritage and environmental values. The interior features a naturally rustic style with antique vintage furniture showing beautiful signs of age and character. Some pieces have been part of the house since it was built in 1927.
The open-plan layout creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors.
The location remains pleasantly shaded during the morning, while the afternoon sun bathes the house and garden in light. The spacious grounds include a private woodland area with berries and mushrooms. Along one side of the property lies the waterway used by ferries travelling between Stockholm, Turku, Helsinki and Tallinn.
The property is virtually mosquito-free.
