The former railway cottage "38" is situated in the softly rolling landscape of the Champagne region. The cottage is charmingly furnished and equipped with all comforts. The cottage also has a separate orchard. From the end of October until March you can observe the wintering cranes from the cottage. The area around the cottage is ideal for hiking and cycling lovers. In the summer you can swim and practice all other kinds of water sports in the Lac du Der reservoir which provides the Seine in Paris with water in dry periods. This lovely and enormous nature area is located only 10 minutes from the cottage. The Nigloland attraction park is located 50 km away. A visit to Paris (2 hours), Troyes and Verdun (1 hour) is certainly worth the effort. In short, this former railway cottage is highly recommended.
