Holiday home in Åmål S

Set on an elevated forest plot, just a few hundred metres from the shores of lake Vänern, this holiday home is an excellent choice for nature lovers!

The interior of the house is light and airy, and features an open-plan kitchen and living room. The kitchen features the basic amenities, and in the living room you'll find a pellet stove, a TV, and a DVD-player. There are two bedrooms, with a bunk bed in one of them, and two single beds in the other. A ladder takes you up to the mezzanine where you'll find two single beds. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower.

On the west side of the house, there's a big, comfortable terrace with a garden grill. From here, you have a great view of the surrounding landscape. You also get a glimpse of Vänern. A rowing boat and a canoe is included in the rent. Why not use them to explore the archipelago of Yttre Bodane and fish for pike and bass? Yttre Bodane is a nature reserve which is located close to your cottage.

This holiday home is a perfect base from which you can explore the area. If you are interested in history then you have come to the right place! Bohuslän has been populated since the stone ages and there are many interesting ancient remains here, stone carvings, ancient grave fields and a stone circle. Bohuslän is thought to be the home of Beowulf from the Old English epic poem.

The small town of Åmål is 25 kilometres away and offers cafés, restaurants, and shops. Once a year, in July, there's a blues festival which lasts a weekend. Håverud and the Dalsland Centre are 20 kilometres away. Here you will find the channel of Dalsland, museums, craftsmen, and much more. If you enjoy golfing, there are several 18-hole golf courses within a distance of 25-50 kilometres from your holiday home.
